Featherdale is a like a zoo, but more personal. You can get up close to kangaroos, koalas, wombats, Tasmanian devils, fairy penguins and other amazing Australian wildlife.
For a true "circle-of-life" experience, be sure to visit the owls and predatory birds exhibits where you can witness them feeding. I won't go into detail for the sake of the faint-hearted. Needless to say, Ethan found this intriguing and continues to talk about it today, whereas Eileen was not so impressed.
The staff at Featherdale are so pleasant and their talks are very informative. The Koala and Kangaroo exhibits are probably the most popular where you can have your photo taken with a koala and feed a kangaroo. Here are some pics:
Koalas: Here I am with Ethan and Kaleb. Kaleb was actually a "feature exhibit" it seemed to some of the other tourists who thought he was just adorable in his Chicken Scratch Ring Sling (I love my Chicken Scratch sling, Jade design, by the way!).

Kangaroos: Ethan feeding a kangaroo some kanga-food in an ice-cream cone (dairy not included).

Aussie Wildlife: Here are some pics of some of the other Aussie wildlife that you can see at the park including Albino Kangaroos, Kookaburras, Tasmanian Devils, Wombats and Echindas.
